By accessing or using the Coffset platform (available at coffset.org and v0-coffset.vercel.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and purchasers.
Coffset is a digital platform that provides AI-powered carbon footprint calculation tools and facilitates the voluntary purchase of verified carbon credits. Carbon offsets are retired on your behalf through our partner CNaught. Upon successful purchase, you receive a retirement certificate with a unique order ID traceable through public registries.
You may use the carbon calculator without an account. To purchase offsets and track your history, you must register with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to register or make a purchase.
All purchases are processed securely by Stripe. By completing a purchase, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method for the amount displayed. Prices are shown in EUR and include all applicable charges. Carbon credit retirements are final and non-refundable once processed, as the underlying credits have been permanently retired on your behalf. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days.
All content on the Coffset platform — including text, design, code, logos, and AI-generated reports — is the property of Coffset or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission. Your retirement certificates are issued for your personal use and record-keeping only.
You agree not to:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Coffset and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or environmental claims. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Coffset in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable European Union law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
We may update these terms at any time. We will post the revised terms here with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email.
